Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms apply to Sam's Minecraft Servers ("we", "us"): the Minecraft servers and websites at sams.tj, hardcore.tj, skyblock.tj, superflat.tj, earth.tj and mods.tj, the forum and our Discord. By joining a server, using the websites or signing in, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

We are not an official Minecraft service and are not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. You also need to follow the Minecraft End User License Agreement.

Your account

• You play with your own Minecraft account and are responsible for what is done with it.
• Linking a Discord, Google, Patreon or forum account to your Minecraft name must be done by you, for your own accounts.
• If you are under 13, ask a parent or guardian before linking any outside account or making any payment.

Rules

Each server has its own rules, shown in the game and on its website. On every server you agree not to:

• use hacked clients, cheats, x-ray, or exploits and bugs to gain an advantage (report bugs instead);
• harass, threaten or bully others, or post hateful, sexual or illegal content;
• share anyone's personal information;
• spam, advertise other servers, or try to scam other players;
• attack, overload or try to break into our servers, websites or accounts;
• pretend to be staff or another player, or evade a ban with another account.

Moderators may warn, mute, kick or ban players, remove builds or items, and reset progress to keep the game fair. Hardcore servers may have their own rules about deaths and respawns. Bans can be appealed through the ban appeal options in the game, on Discord or on the forum.

Vote Points and in-game items

Vote Points, in-game money, items, ranks, claims and builds exist only inside the game. They have no value in real money, are not your property, cannot be sold or exchanged for money, and may be changed, reset or removed, for example when a world is reset or a feature changes. Do not buy or sell them outside the game.

Donations and Patreon

• Donations and pledges through Patreon, Ko-fi or Stripe are voluntary support for running the servers. Payments are handled by those services under their own terms.
• Patron perks (such as free teleports) last while your pledge is active and linked to your Minecraft name. They are conveniences, may change, and stop when the pledge ends.
• A ban for breaking the rules does not entitle you to a refund. Refund requests go through the service you paid with; contact us too and we will help where we can.

What you create and post

You keep ownership of what you write and build. By posting it on our servers, forum or Discord, you allow us to show it there and in our screenshots, newspaper, gallery, stream and promotion of the servers. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.

Availability and changes

The servers are run by volunteers and provided "as is". They may be down for maintenance, change, lose data or close, and worlds may be reset. We keep backups but cannot promise that every build or item can be restored.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss of in-game progress or items, for what other players say or do, or for outside sites we link to. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law of your country that cannot be limited.

Ending your use

You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your information as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or the server rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and important changes will be announced on Discord. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
