Hi everyone, 
I know griefing is a big pain in a skyblock world because no one expects it. It's inherently difficult to prevent griefing in a 100% vanilla world like this one, so I have implemented some changes to the skybock.tj island generation algorithm to make it a bit more difficult to reverse-engineer. Using a salted string generated from the player's username, the script no longer places people in a predictable pattern. This ensures nobody can reverse-engineer the system to hunt down your coordinates. The script scrambles the salt + your username to generate a unique set of numbers, which it uses to pick a random spot in the world. It then snaps that location to 1,000-block spacing rule to make sure that everyone stays perfectly separated. So, if the script attempts to place your island uncomfortably close to someone else's for whatever reason, it will first double-check a list of everyone's current base coordinates to ensure the area is completely clear and then, if someone is already living nearby, it just tweaks your coordinates to find a fresh, empty spot for your island. This whole process guarantees that your island spawns in a totally unpredictable, scattered location that will always be permanently tied to your account. Now, resetting your island command will place you in the exact same location whereas in the past you'd be at entirely new coordinates. So be careful who you invite to your base!

sams.tj, the snapshot server, is now running 26.3 Snapshot 8. I've decided to start posting the snapshot changelogs to the server's forum instead of Discord, to help better document what changed / when changes occurred. 
Not a lot changed in this snapshot. Some changes to cushion mechanics to prevent you from being able to pillar out of caves with them while suffocating. Some map item names have changed, too. Here's the full changelog from Mojang:
