This hostile mob not spawning issue is pretty detrimental, I do hope it is fixable!
tested passive mob spawning for some hours: 0 spawns, in an area where I have spawned before and does not have any mobs that are counting towards the mobcap in it afaik. (have 8 animals nearby, but bred them all so they no longer count afaik).
Kelkerdi also tested with a 4.5 hour afk session and 0 animals on her island: 0 spawns. Flower Biome
